It all started with the exciting saga of a Nigerian airline, Air Peace decorating it’s first female airline pilot, Simisola whose father is himself, a pilot as well as four other brothers, and the commercial airliner experimented with an all female crew that flew passengers from Abuja to Lagos to the rapturous delight of the passengers. It was Nigeria’s first all female crew, from captain to second officer, engineer and other cabin crew, making history.

Beyond Nigeria’s shores, females are making waves as commercial pilots.
A lady, Adeola Ogunmola Sowemimo has thus become the first Nigerian female pilot with world famous Qatar Airways, the State-owned airline national carrier, in the Aviation industry.
A Nigerian woman has thus broken broken the glass ceiling that limits the womenfolk to the kitchen and ‘the other room’ as they pave way for many Nigerian women in the aviation industry.
The lady, Adeola Ogunmola Sowemimo is officially the first female Nigerian pilot with Qatar Airways. The woman, thanked God for his mercies on her Facebook page.
She wrote: “It is the Lord’s doing and it’s marvelous in my sight.”

Friends and family members on the platform have been celebrating her success, while giving thanks to Almighty God for the great achievement.
Adeola Ogunmola is expected to be flying the Dreamliner Boeing 787 for the Qatar Airways.
