Benue Killings: ‘Wike’s Visit Is Timely’ – Sango

The Leadership of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Plateau State under its Chairman Hon Damishi T Sango has commended and appreciated Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State for his timely visit to commiserate with the people of Benue State over the unprovoked killing of more than 73 people by suspected herdsmen militia.

“This solidarity visit has depicted Governor Wike as a man full of divine potential and compassion for Nigerians. You Are Indeed A Leader Who Thinks And Acts Like A True Leader”, he said.

In a statement issued by the
Platea State PDP Publicity Secretary, Sir John T Akans (KSM) says “we believed as a party that Governor Wike’s action was motivated by the content of leadership spirit in him as a true Nigerian who believes in a united Nigeria.

“Your Excellency, we thank you for sharing in the pains of the government and people of Benue State and indeed Nigeria despite the difference of political platforms between you and Governor Ortom.

“This demonstration of love proves you can stand for the security, peace and justice for every Nigerian irrespective of where they come from.

“This visit sir has built bridges across all divided lines and has promoted trust and a harmonious co- existence between our people.

“PDP therefore calls on Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau State to emulate this exemplary leadership spirit of Governor Wike”.
