Gombe State Governor, Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo (Talban Gombe) OON, Ph.D has expressed his gratitude to Nigerians from all walks of life that showed their love and support in the just concluded PDP’s Presidential Primary Elections.
Dankwambo thanked the amazing broad spectrum coalition of Nigerians from all walks of life that identified with his first time quest, seeking for the presidential candidature of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.
The show of support was simply overwhelming. It was a revealing story that when one thinks Nigerians are not watching, they indeed are examining issues critically and making value judgements, he said.
The Governor said ” the full essence of our Nigerianness manifested itself when diverse Nigerians from all walks of life participated in a Twitter poll picking me as their ideal candidate before the actual vote at the Primaries ground”.
He added that, It will be difficult to thank each and everyone who contributed in one way or the other to take him to the level that he attained.
” I must not fail to mention just a few of the compatriots and organizations that worked tirelessly which enabled me to cover the grounds that I attained, due to your collective efforts”.
He thanks and commends his Campaign Organization by saying that their organizational abilities were wonderful.
Dankwambo also thanks and commends “all the media outfits both Print, Electronic and the Social Media that rallied round the campaign project. The Social media activists and bloggers where there, working tirelessly”, the statement added.

“Apart from the aforementioned groups and organizations, there were also other volunteer groups that are too numerous to mention. Without them all, the successes we achieved and the level that we attained would not have been possible”, Dankwambo said.
