Some frontline candidates

No one can really say for sure if the story published by some online media channels that Governor Willie Obiano has been stopped from parading or campaigning as the APGA governorship candidate in the forthcoming Anambra November 18 Election is targeted propaganda from the candidate’s campaign team to draw sympathy, or crass incompetent propaganda from his opponents meant to derail Willie Obiano.

Either way, the propaganda is cheap and puerile, as Nigerians are not as gullible as some people think.

If the report reproduced below is true, how come the Federal Court that allegedly stopped Obiano is not specifically mentioned?

Why is the name of the purported judge who issued the order not mentioned?

Who filed the suit against Willie Obiano and APGA and want is the end result of the sought for reliefs?

Who were the counsels to the brief?
Why where they not mentioned in the brief?

Did the purported order also stop Obiano from contesting as well?

Fake news is becoming a scourge in the Nigerian media space, as the Nigerian Minister of Information once remarked while addressing media handlers of State governors recently.

The alleged fake news in circulation :

“A Federal High Court (what is the court number?) sitting in Abuja has ordered Governor Willie Obiano to stop parading himself as the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, gubernatorial candidate for the November 18, 2017 governorship election in the state, a report from the Nigerian capital said.
“The presiding judge (What’s the name of the judge?) delivered a ruling to serve Governor Obiano through substituted means on a prayer (who’s prayer? ) asking him to stop parading himself as the governorship candidate of APGA in the November 18th Anambra gubernatorial election,” the report by the portal elombah.com said.
APGA, the ruling party in Anambra, is factionalised, with Victor Oye leading the faction that produced Obiano as candidate while the faction led by Martin Agbaso produced a different candidate.
(This case was dispensed with before the campaigns began).
The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, recognises Obiano as the candidate of APGA”.

Critical Nigerians have seen the need to always analyze whatever they read before they are deceived.
The Oasis Reporters gets so many news releases but does critical analysis before publication. Every fake and unverified news item is disregarded.
