Flamboyant and outspoken opposition PDP stalwart, Femi Fani-Kayode has lashed out angrily at the seeming conspiracy of silence from the BBC, CNN and Al Jazeera networks in the ongoing ethnic cleansing being carried out by the Fulani ethnic group militia in the middle belt region of Nigeria.
He called them out to shame, asking, “Do Nigerian lives not matter?”
The Fulani ethnic herdsmen terrorist group is considered the fourth deadliest terrorist group in the world, according to global rankings.
“Yesterday it was Benue, today it is Taraba. The Fulani terrorists are indulging in a bloodfest of gargantuan proportions whilst the Buhari government openly encourages and protects them and attempts to rationalise their genocidal slaughter and mass murder. It is time to defend ourselves!
Meanwhile I join IPOB in condemning CNN, BBC and Al Jazeera for turning a blind eye to the genocide and ethnic cleansing that the Fulani terrorists and herdsmen have unleashed on Nigerians.
Do Nigerian lives not matter?
Is Nigerian blood not red?
Are we not human beings too?
Shame on you!”, Fani-Kayode’s statement read.
