The defeat former Ekiti State governor, Ayo Fayose felt was targeted at his former deputy governor, Professor Olusola Eleka in the Ekiti State gubernatorial election last year because of him has seen the ex governor who is facing indictment by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC turn the situation to mirth as he now takes to Twitter, mocking those he is convinced were behind his travails in having his choice candidate succeed him.

In a recent tweet, he mocks Ogun state governor, Ibikunle Amosun for equally failing to have his own chosen candidate succeed him.

Former Ogun state governor, Gbenga Daniel who was the Atiku Abubakar Campaign Organization Director General, of the PDP in the presidential election held recently, suddenly decided to swing the votes of his supporters to the All Progressives Congress, APC candidate, Mr Abiodun who emerged victorious.

Although Mr Ibikunle Amosun belongs to the ruling APC party, his failure to produce a successor as gubernatorial candidate, forced him to fund and support the candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), against that of his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He said his support for the APM candidate, Adekunle Akinlade, and not Dapo Abiodun of the APC, was in accordance with the collective decision of the APC to ensure the emergence of an indigene of the Ogun West Senatorial District, as the next governor of the state.

Like Ayo Fayose, Amosun’s bid equally failed. Hence the mockery between the two South West politicians that indeed, what goes around, comes around.
