A CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR GOODWILL MESSAGE DELIVERED BY SENATOR USMAN BAYERO NAFADA, PDP GOVERNORSHIP CANDIDATE OF GOMBE STATE

Christmas is here with us again and we are about witnessing the completion of another year.

We give thanks to Almighty God for preserving our lives and giving us the opportunity to witness this festive season.

Christmas is about spreading and sharing love. As we celebrate this year’s Christmas, let us soberly reflect and introspect on all that God has done for us as a State, as Communities, as Families and as Individuals.

Let us express gratitude to the founding fathers of Gombe State for their vision and foresight.
Let us be grateful for the tremendous progress witnessed under our past leaders especially under the able leadership of His Excellency, Dr Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo, OON, Talban Gombe.

I am strong in my resolve to continue the good work when voted in 2019. Together we can further transform Gombe State to an enviable level of development and sustainability.

Primarily, we hope to continue to fight poverty and illiteracy by raising the living standards of the people and thus make Gombe State a land of peace, freedom, equity and opportunity for all.

As the electioneering campaign gathers momentum, I appeal to the good people of Gombe State to ensure that the elections are held under the atmosphere of peace and tranquility.

We cannot be peace lovers if we are not peace makers.

Let me most sincerely thank you for all your support and prayers which has been a source of strength, inspiration and encouragement to me.

On behalf of all our PDP aspirants, I wish you all a Merry Christmas and may the New Year 2019 bring you Peace, Progress and Prosperity.

Thank you.
