A reflection of a progressive leadership failure defined by successive administrations plagued by corruption, lack of patriotism, ethnicity, religious stupidity, static and obsolete systems, non-visionary leadership and docile followership almost from our Independence as a Nation as espoused in the words of SAN Funke Aboyade

“I am very widely travelled even if I say so myself. From Argentina to New Zealand and many countries in between. I do not get overwhelmed easily. But particularly when I visit countries Nigeria was either at par with or better than economically or developmentally in the 1950s and 1960s, I feel deep pain. Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea, Japan, Dubai et al. I have been there. The pain is the same.

I do not feel that pain or sense of loss in other First World countries. Just the ones which not only overtook us but left us in the dust whilst we bumbled along. We did this to ourselves, we have no one else to blame”.

From the above statement and the testimonies of Nigerians in diverse countries of the world, it is obvious that the leaders need to upscale their processes for the nation to pull abreast of other global destinations.
