“Nobody can underrate the political dexterity of Gov. Ayodele Fayose in the country any longer because he has established himself politically to the extent that he is now an institution and anybody who thought the governor is nothing in Nigerian politics of today needs to do a self-check. I am indeed proud of my governor “, she said.

The lawmaker said she was personally happy over the peaceful conduct of the election, saying the congress was so well organized and the election too was free, fair and credible.

She said the people of Ikole Local Government of Ekiti State will never cease to follow the governor.

She specially thanked the governor on behalf of all PDP members in Ikole Constituency 11 on the honour bestowed on them by supporting their son to become a member of the National Working Committee of the PDP.

Owolabi also used the opportunity to congratulate Hon. Wale Aribasala on his new political assignment, urging him to justify the confidence reposed in him by the governor.
