Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu

One notable contrast in what Tinubu said against Obaseki according to this tweet was explained thus:

Ehya
Tinubu said he fought for this ‘Democracy’ we are enjoying today and Obaseki didn’t contribute to the struggle. Thank you Tinubu for this democracy.
This is the more reason Edo people should vote for Obaseki.

Tinubu said Edo people should reject Obaseki because he didn’t participate in the struggle for restoration of democracy

So Buhari that he supports participated in the democratic struggle abi?

This country nawaoo !

Tinubu wants the Edo people to reject Obaseki because in the figment of his imagination,Obaseki did not fight for democracy.
Did Yahaya Bello fight for democracy or am l missing something?

Tinubu supported Bello for a second tenure despite his glaring failure , now same Tinubu is asking Edo people not to vote Obaseki despite his giant strides across all sectors. Tinubu is an enemy of progress and should be ignored, he’s only interested in Edo’s treasury

Tinubu has no moral right to participate in conversations involving Edo people. If anyone is to be rejected, it has to be Tinubu.

Tinubu got us into this mess, he’s a traitor, a sycophant and a merchant of greed. Nigerians must reject him and his useless message

The curious thing about that Tinubu video was he didn’t accuse Godwin Obaseki of being incompetent or not doing well, but that the man did not respect godfathers and not fought for democracy.
Edo people, that video should help shape your priorities on Saturday. Do not vote APC.

Tinubu never made a video against state of Nigeria economy & security against d backdrop of his promises of APC egbẹ́kẹ́gbẹ́ government, but made against Obaseki. EDO PEOPLE, SHINE UR EYES THEY ARE COMING FOR UR WEALTH. WHAT DO U EXPECT FROM THE TRIO OF GANDUJE, HOPE & TINUBU.

Tinubu’s broadcast served as nothing but comic relief. It was more of a long-winded slur & self-serving pepper soup-joint rant than a speech. It was a repugnant & repulsive repellant to Edo state voters & his anti-Obaseki diatribe may cost Ize Iyamu the election on saturday.

..For the self-proclaimed leader of democracy in Nigeria & a man who has presidential aspirations this was a pitiful & disappointing outing. He appeared weak, desperate & pathetic. He was incoherent, barely audible &his baseless assertions bordered on the absurd & nonsensical.

…The people of Edo state are a proud and noble people with good breeding, a great history and a rich cultural heritage.
They do not like being told what to do by a Lagos slumlord whose name, background and true lineage is shrouded in mystery and secrecy

What has Obaseki actually done that made him not to deserve the vote of Edo people. Tinubu should understand that Obaseki stepping on toes of his stooge is not tantamount to failing Edo people.Tinubu and his APC cohorts should allow Edo people to decide who governs them!
