Enthronement of Democracy in Greeks’ Classical City of Athens in the 5th Century BC has indeed gone a long way to create enabling environments for both the sane and the insane to cohabit.

But for the finesse of democracy which accords almost an unrestricted privilege for one to open his trap and vomit any sort of incoherence, one would not have imagined that there are a good number of persons who had spent time and probably, resources only to end up with the status of an ‘educated fool’.

Every Profession has attributes that expectedly, are peculiar to it. In the specific case of Journalism, character is of essence. It is the quality of character of the practitioner that makes it possible, or otherwise, for him or her to adhere strictly to ethics governing the profession he or she is engaged in.

A thorough-bred journalist or essayist, no matter the circumstance, does not allow himself or herself to be driven by chauvinistic goals. The worst that a journalist or an essayist would allow to happen to him or her is to be defined by pecuniary motivations. At any given time, the journalist or essayist should unmistakably be seen as a professional propelled by objectivity. This is why the journalist or writer is held and respected as The conscience of the society.

Before going further in this essay, I would like to make it clear that I am not a member of the Labour Party. I am vehemently of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Samuel Oritsetimeyin Omatseye, a 62-year old Itsekiri beneficiary of and lackey to former governor of Lagos State; Alhaji Ahmed Bola Tinubu, at his age, should be assumed to be reasonable. With his education and exposure, he is expected to have come of age in which he could look at issues critically, without being incapacitated by every day apprehension of uncertainties of Stomach Infrastructure.

Why on Earth should Samuel Oritsetimeyin Omatseye, as a journalist, if worth his salt, not be bold enough to come up with a convincing and conclusive investigative report on avoidable embarrassing doubts trailing his paymaster’s chronological age? How old is your Master?

As a 21st Century journalist, why is Samuel Oritsetimeyin Omatseye too shy to ask the Man, from whose table he slavishly picks crumbs, the names of the primary school and secondary school he claims to have attended, with verifiable classmates that are still living?

Let us take for instance, I attended Asa Grammar/High School, Asa from 1970-1974. Expectedly, I should have and know my classmates. The Vice Chancellor of Abia State University, Uturu; Distinguished Professor Maxwell Onyemachi Ogbulu, was my classmate from Class 1 to 5. Associate Professor Onwubiko Ngozi Dike of Rhema University, Aba was also my classmate, 1970-74. In 1972, the Senior Prefect of Asa High School, Asa was Dr Chidi Amuta. He was my Senior in school and so, my school mate.

Samuel, why is it difficult for you to clear the cloud on your master’s educational history?

Samuel Oritsetimeyin Omatseye, why are you dumb and deaf over lamentations by Nigerians that Major-General Muhammadu Buhari, whom your master unconscionably helped to foist on them after they had rejected him outrightly in 2003, 2007 and 2011, has become Nigeria’s albatross?

Samuel Oritsetimeyin Omatseye, if you sincerely believe in the Nigerian Project, why have you not written, even a single piece, in condemnation of mass brutal killing and slaughtering of Indigenous Peoples of Nigeria by Fulani terrorists unlawfully brought into Nigeria by Major-General Muhammadu Buhari, preparatory to his do or die presidential election of 2015?

Samuel Oritsetimeyin Omatseye, if you love Nigeria as your country, why should you not be patriotic enough to advise your supperannuated mentor, who can not walk without being supported on both sides naturally because of old age, to go and have a rest, instead of deceiving himself with a delusive entitlement mentality of ‘I must rule Nigeria’? He will not rule Nigeria weakly at above 80.

Samuel Oritsetimeyin Omatseye, after the brutal murder of hundreds of Nigerian Youths at Lekki Toll Gate during the #EndSARS’ Protest in Lagos, why did you not find your voice against that extremity of inhumanity by the APC Federal Government of Major-General Muhammadu Buhari?

Lagos State has been under the suffocating choke of your master.

Is it moral decadence that has made you cling to your stomach infrastructural pursuit instead of, even for one day, raising a voice against the unmitigated exploitation of Lagos State by a non-indigene of the State? Is the colonial master of Lagos State not from Osun State?

On Sunday August 1st, 2022, certainly out of your usual drunkenness, you wrote a piece in your decrepit master’s newspaper, The Nation, titled, Obi-tuary. You tried to use that piece, though fruitlessly, to denigrate not just Mr Peter Obi but the entirety of the Igbo Nation. No doubt, your aim was to sustain your known imbecility of years of self-destructive loyalty that has so caged you to servitude that at your age you have never contemplated being on your own.

Journalists who work assiduously and are guided by ethos of their profession may not have to die waiting for monthly remunerations from their Masters. Their dexterity and application of professionalism emboldens them to thrive towards independence. Is it not a shame that you Samuel Oritsetimeyin Omatseye have made yourself a laughingstock by perpetually resigning your fate to the precarious fortune of your overlord?

At your so-claimed age; a sexagenarian, should it be palatable in your tongue to categorize the Igbo as ‘Biafran babblers’ just because a quintessentially illustrious son of theirs, Mr Peter Obi has volunteered himself for service to the Nigerian State?

At 62, is it expected that you, Samuel Oritsetimeyin Omatseye, should be conjuring feelings of hostility against a tribe that has done you no wrong?

Unfortunately for Samuel Oritsetimeyin Omatseye, your frenzy to convince your boss that any kobo paid you is justified, you nosedived to an inglorious depth of generalizing Christian Pastors as being ‘opportunistic’, just because you want to deride Christianity as was climaxed by your master who is running a Muslim-Muslim APC Presidential Ticket and, by so doing, affirmed that Christians could go to hell and burn to ashes.

Samuel Oritsetimeyin Omatseye, you are myopic. If not so, you would have realized that Mr Peter Obi’s presidential aspiration has almost become a Movement. The simple truth is that because of the ineptitude and gross insincerity that characterizes Major-General Muhammadu Buhari’s APC Government, every Nigerian is dispassionately praying and searching for a leader that can rescue this country.

Major-General Muhammadu Buhari, a Fulani moslem, has ruled this country consecutively for more than seven years running. Yet, his people in the core North are the most uneducated, traumatized, wretched and health-neglected. Their poverty is next to none. To add salt to injury, insecurity will not even allow the President, Major-General Muhammadu Buhari, freely go to his place in Katsina State.

According to a recent documentary by the British Broadcasting Corporation, BBC Hausa Service, Fulani terrorists have been unleashing the worst form of mayhem against the Hausa in Zamfara State. The Hausas are being slaughtered in their numbers.

Of course, even if every Nigerian citizen is killed today, that would not be an issue to a mercenary like Samuel Oritsetimeyin Omatseye. What will be of concern to him is the fruitless pursuit of his paymaster’s ‘presidential entitlement’.

So, as it is today, it is only a parochial person like Samuel Oritsetimeyin Omatseye that is beclouded by his selfish interest in his Stomach Infrastructure that can not appreciate the mood of the Nigerian State. Neither poverty nor insecurity distinguishes between the Igbo Man and the Hausa, or the Yoruba Man and his Itsekiri counterpart..

Nigerian students have been in a forced frustrating ‘holiday’ since February 14, 2022 because of incapability of the APC Federal Government of Major-General Muhammadu Buhari to handle matters of critical importance in the country. It is only a Government headed by a person who has no certificate like Major-General Muhammadu Buhari that can turn his back on education. Buhari came without any certificate(s) and that is why Tinubu wants to be Nigeria’s President without any evidence of educational attainment.

Vainly ridiculously reducing the Presidential aspiration of Mr Peter Obi to Igbo ethnic region only buttresses the magnitude of Samuel Oritsetimeyin Omatseye’s ignorance.
Probably, he does not hear what is happening in different parts of the country.

Poverty mentality is capable of crippling any loose character. This is exactly what has happened to Samuel Oritsetimeyin Omatseye. Because of his parasitic disposition, he has lost critical perception.

I had noticed this gullibility in Samuel Oritsetimeyin Omatseye about ending of 2012 and early 2013. I had electronically sent an essay I had written on Abia State to Samuel Oritsetimeyin Omatseye for publication in The Nation Newspaper. He refused to publish it! But that essay he had turned down was later published on page 22 of The Nation Newspaper of Friday, January 18th, 2013, under his auspices. It was that day that I wrote him off. Avarice could be some persons’ weak point.

In rounding off this piece, Samuel Oritsetimeyin Omatseye should know that the Igbo Man is a Critical Pillar in the Nigerian Project. Lazy drones like Samuel Oritsetimeyin Omatseye, who live on the entrepreneurial ingenuity of others, even if they are fifty millions in this country, can not contribute up to 10% of what the Igbo add as value to the overall description of the Nigerian State.

One lesson the likes of Samuel Oritsetimeyin Omatseye should learn from this piece is that one could write about an individual without, in any way, insulting the person’s tribe. All through this write-up, I had no need, whatsoever, to cast aspersion on the good people of Itsekiri. That their son is a victim of voracious debasement should not make me insult them.
