Migrants Thrown To River Sharks Off Djibouti Coast

The perilous sea journey by desperate young Africans to flee the terrible conditions to Europe, imposed upon the continent and its people by bad political leadership has continued to reap grim news of more migrant deaths off the coast of Djibouti.
At least 20 migrants drowned and 60 others are in distress after being thrown off a boat by smugglers.
Prosecuting traffickers and smugglers who prey on the vulnerabilities of migrants must be a priority, commentators say.

Most importantly, conditions at home must be improved upon for youths to see hope that would enable stay.
Most African political players stoke ethnic divisions that lead to war, a strong reason that leads to dispersal of people, fleeing for their lives.

Most leaders are nepotistic, selfish and corrupt. Unless Africa solves the leadership problem by insisting on fairness and equity, there can be no progress and many would continue to flee the continent under unsafe conditions.
