Ilogbo-Ido road construction in progress.

A House of Representatives member, Chief Thaddeus Aina has once again praised the Executive Governor of Ekiti State, Chief Ayodele Fayose for making him a member of the national assembly where he has been able to attend to the needs of the people.

Chief Aina who was a Local Government Chairman during the first tenure of Gov. Fayose disclosed this to his media handlers on Sunday while discussing ongoing Ido-Ilogbo road project which was facilitated by him, saying the conspiracy behind the illegal impeachment that took place in Ekiti in 2006 affected him as unexplained and unexpected circumstances forced him out of office shortly after the governor was removed by political conspirators of the time.

The lawmaker said he didn’t know there would still be a time like this in his life, giving praise to God and Gov. Fayose.

“All that I have achieved and will still achieve in politics shall be dedicated to God and Gov. Fayose because if not for God and the man he sent to me, I wouldn’t have been a federal lawmaker and there wouldn’t have been an opportunity for me to facilitate the road”.

Aina who represents Ekiti Federal Constituency II, comprising Ido/Osi, Moba and Ilejemeje Local Governments said Ido-Ilogbo road has been in bad shape for almost four decades.

Thank you for putting the Ido-Ilogbo road in order.
