A Meeting With The Queen, And Boris Johnson Becomes Britain’s New Prime Minister

With the resignation of Theresa May, Boris Johnson took office as Britain’s new prime minister on Wednesday.
“The Queen received in audience The Right Honourable Boris Johnson MP this afternoon and requested him to form a new administration,” Buckingham Palace said.
“Mr Johnson accepted Her Majesty’s offer and kissed hands upon his appointment as Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury,” it added
Since Tuesday July 23 2019, Penny Mordaunt has been congratulating Boris Johnson. Everyone knew for certain that he would succeed Theresa May who rode in to power on the back of Brexit. She failed to deliver it, and in comes Boris. Many tweets wished Penny Mordaunt well, and hope that the new Prime Minister will let her remain in the cabinet. From her own tweet, it looks like she’s keeping her options open.

There are many Britons who consider Boris Johnson, a little of a concern. He may be like the Trump of the United Kingdom, but then, events in the next few days will unfold it all.
