At the Armed Forces Remembrance Day commemoration activities, 2025, Oyo State governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde led government officials and other eminent personalities to give honour to those who laid down their lives for the nation to be strong, United and prosperous.

The Remembrance Day is commemorated on the 15th of January, every year in Nigeria. A day set aside for the Remembrance of the fallen heroes who fought to keep Nigeria one.
