The moment the campaign focus of Labour Party’s Delta State gubernatorial candidate, Deacon Ken Kawhariebie Pela and the deputy governorship candidate, Prof. Julie Nwabogo Umukoro beamed on the humongous and unexplainable debts governor Ifeanyi Okowa plunged Delta state into, something raw seemed to have touched the nerves of voters in the state.
Okowa had all the loans he requested approved just before the Presidential election and Atiku eventually lost woefully.

What's now the fate of Delta State's treasury? 🤷
The Peoples Democratic Party candidate, Sheriff Oborevwori whose campaign posters are evident at every road junction in the state, is the speaker of the Delta state House of Assembly who continually approved whatever loan that the governor wanted.
The money that he continued to approve for the state government has had severe impacts that citizens are struggling hard to see when the more prudential neighboring state of Edo is seen building refineries and a power plant that is providing industries with electricity for greater economic growth.
Delta has nothing to show.
All Progressive Party (APC) candidate, Ovie Omo Agege is a former PDP stalwart who decamped to the APC that gave him the gubernatorial ticket, is the Deputy Senate President. As a major ally of President Muhammadu Buhari who leaves office on May 29, 2023, Ovie Omo-Agege can be said to be behind the smooth relationship between the presidency and the Senate that would approve all the humongous loans that Nigeria has been plunged into.
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo (1999-2007) helped Nigeria exit the debt peonage. President Muhammadu Buhari’s government has deeply plunged the country back into it, at a deeper level.
As major loan enablers for both the federal government and the state government, both top candidates are likely to be rejected resoundingly at the polls on Saturday, March 11, 2023.

Many Deltans are now sharing messages, urging Deltans to join Labour Party that would prudently build Delta State to work for all it’s people and vote LP’s Deacon Ken Pela and Professor Julie Nwabogo Umukoro.
Incase you forgot, MARCH 11 is OPERATION LP Governors + State House Assemblies:

In the interviews and pronouncements of Labour Party gubernatorial candidate, Deacon Ken Pela and his running mate, Professor Nwabogo Umukoro, the duo seem intent on copying Peter Obi’s prudential guidelines in the running of Anambra State that took the South East state from heavy indebtedness into surplus, such that at the end of eight years, he left 75 million naira for the incoming successor government, and much more.
Okowa is going to bequeath unimaginable debts. Probably the reason he bulldozed his way in imposing the loans approver in chief as PDP gubernatorial candidate.
But Labour Party in Delta state has Peter nearby to learn one or two things from.

Now Deltans know that the cash that reached some to bribe them into voting for APC or PDP at the presidential election came from borrowed money from the career politicians.
They may send more again before Friday night for sharing. But Deltans are now urged to be wise. They should wisely vote for Labour Party. To Make The State Work For All.
