Do The Slapping, Call For Calm. Sierra Leone’s Intriguingly Difficult Politics As Opposition Led Protests Hold Sept 11
The Oasis Reporters

The biggest problem that a large part of Africa has is that it lacks grandness in it’s politics of survivability, entrenchments and self centeredness.
Like Sierra Leone for instance. A well endowed nation by nature. Talk about minerals, specifically, precious stones. Recall blood diamonds. A movie of the most despicable killing and destruction visited on it’s people by it’s people, just to get who would steal the most by eliminating other contenders.
Africa’s leadership is the greatest albatross on it’s neck. The only shining light even in the midst of entrenchment is Rwanda. Paul Kagame as a visionary leader, turned his nation from unbridled and morbid propensity to kill, to an oasis of growth and development.
Just one man’s vision.

Talk about ports or Harbours. Singapore was a derelict, decrepit and depressing island nation that was part of Malaya (Malaysia). It took the Island’s kicking out of it’s union with Malaya for it to look into itself to make itself into a project of promotion from Third World life into First World with financial rankings that shocked the world. Singapore Island nation is a huge success today because it has visionary leadership. It trained it’s people to be wealth creators that should come back and build their nation that had no resources apart from their natural harbour as a hub to do their creations.
Incidentally, Sierra Leone is one of only two nations in West Africa with natural ports. Nigeria is the other one. Yet the Sierra Leone natural harbour is bereft of the kind of business activities befitting its endowments.
Even the Rice growing that Sierra Leone was known for is lying prostrate, and many people do not know what to do because of a lack of inspirational leadership, the type a nation like Saudi Arabia is having.
Bin Salman: I believe the Middle East will be the new Europe. In 5 years, Saudi Arabia will be a completely different country.

Grand dreams, but realizable because of committed leadership.
Quo vadis, Africa?
Sierra Leoneonians are out protesting today as this is being written and the President, Maada Bio is holding meetings hoping for solutions to come.
Here are snippets from the nation:
Since everything bad now na APC, leh una nor fen scapegoats for una wickedness. We don release press release.

“Unfortunately, the folks that you are referring to, who disguised themselves as a political party, mean no good for the country but for their personal selves. Peter Obi and Atiku Abu Bakaar of Nigeria has just given their concession speeches. Love of country is paramount.”
Sylvanus M Dean seems to have the wrong information on Nigeria anyway.

No! It’s as simple as disassociating yourselves from ECSL and allow Konneh to produce the actual election results that reflects the will of Sierra Leoneans.

Are your so-called friends from the opposition responsible for your reckless handling of our economy? Are they responsible for your govt ineptitude, hate, tribalism and blatant corruption that’s rife within your govt officials??
Mr CM, I love your recent energy. However, it would have been honourable to see you condemn the tribal rhetorics of some SLPP supporters, especially Austin Johnny, who has repeatedly threatened the lives of members of the opposition. Neutral citizens like us want to see fairness.

@medkay6994
Is it too BIG for the GOSL and SLPP to call ECSL to do the needful which the people of SL have been asking for ?. Can you Sengeh do this question to ECSL ? The people are bitter for the way that country is as of now.

use to have a lot of respect for education. Mr. Sengeh, peaceful demonstration is a constitutional right of the citizens. I suppose you would prefer they keep quiet even when they are dissatisfied with governance. Where are your conscious. Do you fear God at all? Our error

Unah spend 5yrs dae blame opposition, the Conservatives in the UK are about to lose the next general election because they spent 13yrs blaming opposition, at some point people get tired of hearing the same record and lack of accountability,be careful or it will have consequences.
