Plateau State Youth Council have taken a position on cattle.

A dusk to dawn curfew has been imposed by the Plateau State Government in Riyom, Barkin Ladi and Jos South to avert a breakdown of law and order.

In a Statement signed by Hon Rufus Bature, SGS, movement is restricted from 6pm to 6am, except those on essential duties.

Plateau State is no stranger from internecine conflicts between the indigenous farmers and nomadic Fulani herdsmen with hundreds of people brutally killed in the last twenty years. Many villages have almost been wiped out of human beings as well.
