Hon. Thaddeus Aina (right), declares Governor Fayose as his leader.

A member of the House of Representatives, Chief Thaddeus Aina has affirmed that he has no other political leader than the Executive Governor of Ekiti State, Chief Ayodele Fayose.

Aina made this known on Saturday in Ilogbo-Ekiti while hosting members of the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP at his residence.

Speaking further, the lawmaker urged members of the party to ignore lies and propaganda being circulated against the Ekiti State Deputy Governor, stressing that everybody knows that Prof. Kolapo Eleka Olusola is a good product who can never engage himself in any illicit act.

He noted that those peddling the rumour were the political adversaries who were already afraid of the popularity and acceptability of the Ekiti State Deputy Governor among the electorate, describing Prof. Eleka as a man of impeccable character whose antecedents cannot be compared to that of the other aspirants in the state.

He said Eleka became a threat to other aspirants immediately after the Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose endorsed him as his candidate, adding that when a giant and an astute politician like Fayose is behind someone, the person will automatically be a threat to others.

“I became a major issue among the House of Representatives aspirants in Ekiti in 2015 immediately Gov. Fayose made a pronouncement that I was his candidate in Ekiti North Federal Constituency II, so Eleka is the major issue now in Ekiti”.

“Prof. Eleka is my choice and he is now a threat to those bragging about ‘federal might’ and my advice to the PDP members in Ekiti State is to ignore the ranting of the detractors and remain focused”, he said.
