Electoral Act Amendments: Makinde Receives Members Of The National Assembly

A day ahead of local government elections in Oyo state, State governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde was visited by national assembly members and he said:
“We received members of the National Assembly Joint Committee on Electoral Matters, led by Senator Sharafadeen Alli and Hon. Adebayo Balogun, this afternoon.
The committee members are in Ibadan to engage with stakeholders within the South West Zone on amendments to the Electoral Act.
In my remarks, I pledged our administration’s support to ensure that they fulfill their task”.
The Saturday April 27 elections are drawing to a close for the roads and the markets to be opened as we compile this report.
Residents of Ibadan had gone to vote under good weather as the rains that had fallen the previous day morphed into a bright and sunny day today.
