Calm and unruffled, former governor of Ekiti State seemed unperturbed about the outcome of the verdict by the Ekiti State Gubernatorial Election Petitions Tribunal on the challenge posed by the PDP gubernatorial candidate in the 2018 election, Prof Olusola Eleka, his deputy as governor.
He had reportedly told a few of his close aides that the election petition would be lost at the Tribunal.
That indeed became the case, today in Abuja.
Fayose also seems unlikely to pin much hope on the Court of Appeal. He is resting his hopes on the Supreme Court, going by the calmer experience and thorough review of the judgment of the lower courts.

Former deputy governor Olusola Eleka, an Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife Building Technology professor is currently building his appeal at the Court of Appeal in Abuja, same city where his case was thrown out for lacking merit, earlier today.
