Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi has approved the appointment of Prince Adesoye Williams Ayodeji as the new Elepe of Epe-Ekiti in South West Nigeria.

This was sequel to the Ekiti State Executive Council 15th meeting of the year (Virtual), held on 5th of August, 2020 under the chairmanship of the governor.

The issue of a new Elepe of Epe-Ekiti was one of the items on the list for consideration during the deliberations and the appointment of Prince Williams Adesoye was approved.

The ancient town of Epe-Ekiti had been without a Kabiyesi (monarch) since the immediate past Oba E. O. Aigbeleoba from the Ogodulose Ruling House joined his ancestors. From amongst the eligible Princes in the Arowosapo Ruling House whose turn it is, the Kingmakers chose Prince Adesoye Williams Ayodeji.

The good wishes of the governor of the state was communicated to the new monarch by Aare Muyiwa Olumilua, Ekiti State Commissioner for Information and Value Orientation on August 10, 2020.

Prince Adesoye, commonly called Deji (short for Ayodeji) in The Oasis Reporters newsroom is a vivacious and very friendly personality who has often brought deep philosophical verve to his style of writing. His type of racy writing is so engaging, it hardly needs editing. For Deji understands house style and structure.

The 31 year old monarch, Oba Ayodeji would be ascending the throne of his fathers armed with a B.A and an M.A in philosophy from the University of Ado Ekiti and the University of Ibadan respectively.

The Oasis Reporters wishes the beautiful kingdom of Epe-Ekiti a peaceful and prosperous season all through the reign of Adesoye Williams Ayodeji.

Epe-Ekiti is in Ijero local government area of Ekiti State, a thirty minute drive from the State capital, Ado-Ekiti at normal and approved speed limits of 120 kilometers per hour.

As we await his Coronation in the weeks ahead, The Oasis ReportersTV are making plans to live stream the event on their YouTube channel.

Kabiyesi Deji, Long May You Reign In Peace and Prosperity for you, Kingdom and Ekiti State.

Iséé .
