Outgoing governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose has made a dramatic turn around from his earlier stance that he would quit the PDP following the emergence of Atiku Abubakar as the party’s presidential candidate for the 2019 presidential election.

Fayose however, in what seems to be a change of mind, has declared his support for the former Vice President. He also stated that he would never quit the PDP for any other political party.
The out-going Ekiti State Governor also revealed that he plans to work for the victory of Atiku in the general election.

Meanwhile, congratulatory messages continue to pour in to Atiku Abubakar’s office from co contestants with pledges of support, even as the PDP candidate quickly named former Anambra State governor, Peter Obi as his vice presidential running mate.
It will be recalled that Peter Obi is regarded as Nigeria’s most successful governor since 1999 when democratic governance dawned on Nigeria.
