By Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang

From the beginning of the electoral process, some doubted the good will of the people and their desire for change. We have proven by our actions that power truly belongs to God, and he gives it to whoever he pleases.

I wish to once again thank you for choosing me to represent you before men and before God.

As I reflect on my first 100 days in office, I cannot pretend that the rose did not have its thorns. I have had a fair number of days that ended with sleepless nights especially when it concerned the lives of my people.

The security situation was one that almost broke me. No shepherd will sleep well when his flock keeps getting attacked. I am proud of the people i have in my cabinet, they understand the extent of my zeal to deliver to the people of Plateau State, Good Governance which also includes securing the lives and property of the people of Plateau State.

It doesn’t matter how strong you think you are, it is important to note those who have chosen to stand by you. They would help you to move forward and to push stronger. I know this because the collective effort of well-meaning Plateau Citizens who go about their daily lives with strength and Gusto have made the Job easier. A lot has been done and to the Glory of God, the Goodwill of the People of Plateau will always prevail.

Let me also use this opportunity to invite everyone who truly loves Plateau State to join us and ensure that the next four years are glorious.

The elections are over. Now, we have a state to build for ourselves and our children.
Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang is the executive governor of Plateau State, North Central Nigeria.
