Gombe Guber: PDP Flags Off It’s Campaign In Kaltungo, Demystifies APC

The city of Kaltungo became a political Mecca of sorts as People’s Democratic Party, PDP faithful from all over the north and beyond converged in the headquarter city of Gombe South Senatorial district to kick-start the gubernatorial and the general PDP state wide campaign in the last bastion of the party in the north east.
The rousing event occurred today, 21st January, 2019.
The gubernatorial candidate, Alhaji Bayero Nafada displayed infectious optimism with the state governor, Dr. Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo of a resurgence of PDP in the North East as the party presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is from the neighboring state of Adamawa.
Amongst the distinguished guests that graced the occasion included the House of Representatives Speaker, Mr. Yakubu Dogara who came in with Senator Abdul Ningi, both from neighboring Bauchi State.
The campaign flag off which was held at Olusegun Obasanjo Stadium, Kaltungo was well attended by the good people of Gombe State demonstrating the strength of the PDP in Gombe State to win the 2019 general elections, thereby uncovering the APC’s assumed popularity in Gombe due to the much hyped Buhari factor.

The mammoth crowd and sheer optimism of the people displayed further demystified the assumed APC value in Gombe State. The good people of Gombe State seem ready and willing for the continuation of the PDP good governance in the State.
