The National Universities Commission has approved three new engineering courses for Greenfield University, Kaduna.
The programs are in Civil Engineering, Electrical/Electronic and Mechanical Engineering.
The first private university in Kaduna state, Greenfield University is owned by Imperial Schools Limited led by Engr. (Chief) Simon Nwakacha who is the Founder and Pro Chancellor.
The varsity was given initial approval in 2018 and runs many degree courses in Cybersecurity, Information technology, Biotechnology
Physics with Electronics
Industrial Chemistry and
Other courses include criminology/ Security Studies, International Relations, Business Administration, Political Science , Finance and Investment Management, Accounting and Economics.
The newly approved courses would be run at degree level and are on a full time basis.
According to a letter signed by NUC Director of Planning, Dr. Noel Saliu on behalf of the Executive Secretary, Prof Abubakar Rasheed dated 8 November, 2021, with reference NUC/ AP/P76/ Volume.1/ 02., the approved courses which will commence at the university in the current session shall be run on full time basis
The Pro Chancellor assured that the university has eminent professors and lecturers, as well as modern facilities for the newly approved programs. .
He therefore urged all prospective candidates to apply for these courses as they would be admitted .
He also emphasized the fact that the institution has a very conducive environment having moved to its City Campus at Umueri Road, Kudenda, it’s new location.
The Pro Chancellor assured the students that the 2021/ 2022 session will commence on November 28, 2021 .
