Giddy with the intoxication of unfettered freedom of information that former president Goodluck Jonathan signed into law, Sahara Reporters publisher, Omoyele Sowore took extreme liberties in insulting him.

He and a few others were in the forefront of manufacturing lies and heaping denigrating insults against Jonathan, who ignored the whole lot of them.

Before the 2015 election results could be announced, Jonathan threw in the towel, and the then APC supporters threw wild parties, back slapped each other and celebrated.

Today, the romance has gone sour and the then ‘Change’ activists are just realizing too late, that only Jonathan has the capacity to suffer fools gladly.

Reno Omokri “spoke to ex President @GEJonathan, and urged him to read” his column @THISDAYLIVE titled ‘Sowore and Buhari: A Bromance Gone Sour!’

Jonathan responded, ‘Reno, pray for the young man. Help him if you can. He didn’t know what he was doing’.
Reno Omokri is asking, “GEJ a human or an angel?”

The latest news is that Omoyele Sowore, a pro-democracy campaigner and convener of RevolutionNow movement, had on Friday, September 20, 2019, been charged on seven counts bordering on conspiracy to commit treason, cyberstalking President Muhammadu Buhari, and also insulting him in a television interview.

Omoyele Sowore, a pro-democracy campaigner and convener of RevolutionNow movement, will be arraigned at the Federal High Court in Abuja on Tuesday, September 24, 2019, according to SaharaReporters, an online medium owned by Sowore. He was arrested in Lagos on August 3, 2019, for planning a series of peaceful protests against the government.
