‘I Expended 2.7m Naira On NURTW Secretariat In Ayetoro’ – Jeje

The National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) Secretariat, which was commissioned, Tuesday in Ayetoro – Ekiti by Ekiti State deputy governor, Kolapo Olusola Eleka gulped the total sum of 2.7 million naira personal funds of Hon. Samuel Jeje to construct.
The. Ekiti State House of Assembly lawmaker made this disclosure on Tuesday during the commissioning of the project by the Deputy Governor of Ekiti State, Prof. Olusola Eleka who is running for the July 14, 2018 governorship election to succeed his boss, Ayo Fayose whose second and final term in office winds down towards the end of the year.
Deputy Gov. Eleka also received 110 APC members who decamped from their party to the PDP in the town at the occasion.
Hon. Jeje said he executed the project to appreciate the support given to him by the union during electioneering campaign.
“The union stood solidly behind me during my election and I would be an ingrate if I didn’t fulfil my promise.
“If I have my way, I will still embark on more projects for the people who gave me support and attend to other things in all the wards I am representing”, he said.
Speaking on the decampees, Jeje maintained no one persuaded them but were impressed by the performances of Gov. Ayodele Fayose.
