With smart electoral technologies in place during the Kenyan Elections, Vice President Williams Ruto has swept to stunning victory in the East African biggest economy’s presidential election.

This will be your government that will serve you, Kenya!
Hear Ruto in words:
I will work for all Kenyans. We will go out of our way to deliver on our pledges. We will serve all equally. This will be your government; the government of the people of Kenya. pic.twitter.com/kPN9YVcssd

Nigeria’s president, Muhammadu Buhari, a retired military general was quick to send in a congratulatory message.
I congratulate the President-Elect of Kenya, William Ruto, on his victory in the August 9, 2022 general elections. I wish him a successful inauguration and tenure in office, while also looking forward to more fruitful and robust engagements between Nigeria and Kenya.

So has South Africa’s president, Cyril Ramaphosa.
I offer my warm congratulations to President-Elect @WilliamSRuto of the Republic of Kenya. No Twitterati ignores @FirstLadyship, Nefertiti.
Nigerians, PAY ATTENTION to what’s happening across Africa. Zambia & Kenya did it. Nigeria should be no different. William Ruto won in Kenya, against Raila Odinga (a 5th time serial contestant) like Atiku. Reject the kakistocratic & gerontocratic kleptomaniacs, BAT & Atiku

One man who has some explaining to do to the people of Kenya is Uhuru Kenyatta. He wanted to be like Nigeria’s former president Olusegun Obasanjo who sidelined his deputy, Atiku Abubakar and got away with it by just laughing it off.
But Obasanjo has anointing grace which Kenyatta doesn’t have. So he also sidelined his Vice President Ruto by supporting Raila Odinga. Kenyans said no, and sided with the embattled Ruto.
Besides, Raila Odinga is very old. A serial contestant who has duelled with Uhuru Kenyatta twice, a contest that led to several thousands of deaths amongst the Luos (Obama Snr’s tribe) and the Kikuyu’s, Jomo Kenyatta’s majority tribe.
Kenyans have chosen youthfulness and new to give Kenya a new beginning.
Kenya's Deputy President William Ruto has emerged as the new President-elect, after winning the election.

President Uhuru Kenyatta endorsed Opposition Leader, Ralia Odinga after falling out with his Deputy President, William Ruto. pic.twitter.com/377f89d3xL
Like the Obidient Movement of Nigeria. In Kenya, the Obidients are called, “Hustlers”. Funny appellation for Rutorattis
I was for Raila Odinga but i have changed my mind.

Nairobi CBD is calm and Uhuru Kenyatta can explain how Kikuyus have united while Luos are just ok with William Ruto,Ruto should absorb Kalonzo Musyoka in his government.

‘Wajackoyah‘, Ruto.
That is the current greeting slogan on the streets of Nairobi and inside their fast paced Matatu buses.
Wajackoyah to the 5th president William Ruto.

The kind of politics we all want

Kenyans are standing guard for Kenya and what they want is “respectful engagement”. They choose who they want.
If Dr. William Ruto had lost, those of us who supported him for free would be fed rotten insults for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We choose respectful engagement. And as always, no matter who the president is, never forget: We stand guard for Kenya. We are many. We are legion. ⚖️

Ruto’s daughter is is married to a Nigerian and they had a carnival-like wedding a few years ago. Igbos are a significant migrant population driving businesses in Kenya. The Kenyan economy is near that of Lagos State in Nigeria. But with a vibrant and youthful population, their opportunities are limitless.
