Some newly elected governors have started setting their agenda in office by visiting places needing urgent attention within their first day in office, while others are personally displaying self Portraits, ordinarily a job to be announced and shown to the public by junior press officers in the state house.
I am thrilled to unveil my official portrait as the Executive Governor of Plateau State, which demonstrates my steadfast pledge to serve the wonderful citizens of our state.

Delta State governor, Sheriff Oborevwori has done the right thing by appointing a media officer.
Humbled and grateful to be sworn in as the executive Governor of Delta State. I thank the people for their trust in me, and I am ready to serve as a servant leader who listens and acts in the best interest of the people. pic.twitter.com/4h7IRWmQyo

The new Press Secretary will be in a better position to tell us how to address His Excellency while the governor gets to grips with delivering the dividends of democracy to the resource rich Delta State where poverty is still acute and abandoned projects litter the entire state.

Former governor of Kano state, Abdullahi Ganduje may not be having it cool in the first few days of being out of office and out of power.
In line with our transition advisory. I am announcing, today, that all public places and assets that were immorally plundered and sold by the Ganduje administration should be taken over by law enforcement agencies pending the final decision of the Government.

We have noted that…
There was the case of a missing social media critic, Abubakar Dadiyata who disappeared without a trace.
Earlier, in my inaugural address, I stated that we cannot forget the case of our respected member and supporter, Abubakar Dadiyata, who was whisked away in broad daylight by unknown elements more than three years ago.

The Kano State Government will take up his case with all…
The new governor has vowed to find out.
Interesting days ahead.
Among other places. I was also at the Challawa Water Treatment Plant to asses its present state. I have already set-up an intervention committee to look into the plant’s condition and revive it for the provision of potable water to the public. pic.twitter.com/0ymvclxm7e

Kano State has a culture of ensuring adequate public water supply to the generality of it’s citizens. But citizens pay their water rate.
Unlike Delta State where the public water supply collapsed over 50 years ago. Individuals sink private boreholes in their homes. But in Warri, the water you fetch from it tastes of petrol mainly. It makes the business of sachet water boom. The rich buy bottled water.
Nigerians will be watching the governors as they perform.
