In This Big Sallah: While Physical Bank Doors Are Shut,They Are Still Working Digitally And Fidelity Is Sharing Food

After the weekend of festivities from the Father’s Day celebrations to the joys of worship at Eid, the Nigerian government gave two more days for holidays.
Monday and Tuesday are work free days.
This is the time for families and communities to be with one another and relieve moments of refreshing togetherness before the bustle and hustle of the days to come soon after.
In Kano City, north west Nigeria, the sixth largest Nigerian bank, Fidelity Bank is sharing food packs to families that appear to be in need.
It is Kano’s turn today.
All Nigerians need help with this monster of inflation that is affecting everyone and there seems to be no urgent solutions at taming it.
We need to help each other in these trying times and there’s the belief that tough times never last forever.

Kudos to Nigerian citizens in the diaspora. They’ve not forgotten those that they left behind. With the odd remittances of a hundred dollars here, fifty euros there, many households are getting some slight relief.
What most Nigerian youths need to do is to package themselves with financial literacy and suspend instant gratification. If the diaspora inflow continues and a large part of it is channeled into productive activities and not just consumption, perhaps the people can find a way of crawling out of this difficult situation. The government is unable to help itself in debt reduction. How then, can they help the citizenry?

Nigerians, assist thyself and crawl out of these hard times with production at double rate.
Happy Sallah.
