Justice Bankonjo Takes Over From Umar As Chairman, Court of Conduct Bureau (CCT)

The judge who recently sent two People’s Democratic Party, PDP ex governors including a serving Senator to jail, Justice Bankonjo, has been appointed as Chairman of Court of Conduct Tribunal (CCT).
Bankonjo takes over from Justice Danladi Umar.
Senate president, Dr. Bukola Saraki is standing trial before the Code of Conduct Tribunal.
The President is not known to be a fan of Bukola Saraki. The Senate President was one of those who rocked the boat of his former party, the PDP to join Gen. Buhari’s new coalition that became known as the APC. Currently, relationships within the party is sour.
