Ex Cop Derek Chauvin who knelt on George Floyd’s neck till he died, awaits the announcement of the verdict of jurors.

Jurors have reached a verdict in the trial of former Derek Chauvin after less than 24 hours of deliberation—with an announcement imminent as to whether the former Minneapolis Police officer will be convicted of murder and manslaughter in George Floyd’s death.

The verdict will be read in court between 4:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. ET. ( 21:30 pm to 22.00pm in Nigeria).

The former Minneapolis Police officer has been charged with second-degree manslaughter, second-degree murder and third-degree murder, all of which require jurors to conclude Chauvin’s actions were a “substantial causal factor” in Floyd’s death and that his use of force during the May 25 arrest was unreasonable
