Many police stations were either threatened or set ablaze by angry mobs in Oyo state and all over the country as youths were angry over police brutality and the killing of protesting youths at the Toll-gate in Lagos where the army was invited and they opened lethal fire on the protesters.
Governor Seyi Makinde replaced the four burnt police vans with a record 74 vehicles recently and he also pledged compensation to the families of killed policemen in the ensuing mêlée.
