Message To PDP Supporters In Ekiti State (Part 2)

Following the shameful acts and inability of the All Progressives Congress, APC to conduct a free, fair and credible primary election on Saturday, I consider it necessary to once again disseminate a very simple information to the genuine members of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ekiti State who really have the interest of the party at heart.
Though many people might consider my message unnecessary but it is important to let those planning to play the spoiler role during the ongoing Party primary election today to have a second thought because PDP should not blow away the golden chance of winning the July 14 election in the state.
Like I said in one of my latest writings that destiny has more power in politics than financial wherewithal and experience. Let me state it expressly that no man gets anything on planet earth except it has been approved from heaven. A good reader of the Holy Bible will concur with me.
As a lover of sports, I know in every contest that a winner must emerge and so it is in politics.
Meanwhile, today’s primary election cannot favour all the aspirants. Only one person will emerge the candidate, while others should not see the winner as their enemy, those on the winning side too should not see themselves as unto self only, for everyone is needed to win the general election.
A lot of lessons should be learnt from the show of shame perpetrated by the APC on Saturday, 5th of May, 2018. This is an opportunity for the PDP as a ruling party in the state to school the members of the opposition party in the State, APC, what democracy is all about.
The reality is that, the outcome of PDP’s primary election will either make or mar the chance of the party. I believe the expectation of APC members is to see PDP commit the same blunder they committed so that PDP won’t have anything to write, say or talk about their show of shame.
