Nigeria’s Inspector General Of Police, Reshuffles 24 Assistant (AIGs) In New Policing Vision To Improve Services

The Inspector General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, has ordered the posting and redeployment of twenty-four (24) Assistant Inspectors General of Police (AIGs) to zonal commands and formations throughout the country.



The IGP, in a statement issued on Tuesday by Force Police Public Relations Officer (FPRO), CP Frank Mba said the development was in line with the new Manpower Development Policy of the Force, the police IGP recently launched.

The new postings according to the release are:

The statement said the posting and the redeployment of the Senior Police Officers is with immediate effect.



The IGP assured the posting and redeployment of the Senior Police Officers will further help in driving the new policing vision, which amongst other things, is targeted at improving policing services and effectively responding to security threats in the country.
