NYSC Requirements for 2018 Batch ‘A’ Camp Registration Released

All necessary documents required from prospective corps members both foreign and local graduates are to be shown before camp registration for the 2018 Batch ‘A’ Orientation Course.

According to the NYSC official twitter handle @nysc_ng, the corps members must therefore take note of all required documents and make adequate preparations ahead of the commencement of orientation course.It said those who studied in the country should bring to their respective camps their degree or HND certificates or statement of results and a personal Identity Card (ID) from the institution of graduation. But foreign graduates should endeavour to bring for verification, original copies of all their uploaded credentials and travel documents including international passport.

According to the NYSC twitter handle, foreign graduates must ensure that academic papers in languages other than English must be translated into English accordingly and both versions presented for verification at the camp.

“Medical and Veterinary Doctors, Dentists, Pharmacists, Optometrists, Physiotherapists, Nurses and Public Environmental Health Graduates should come along with their professional licenses or certificates of full registration issued by their professional bodies,’’ it said.

The NYSC on Monday April 16, commenced issuance of call-up letters to prospective corps members, according to the News Agency Of Nigeria, NAN

For Corp members who may not like camp food, go with cereals/provisions, cup, plate, water bottle (useful on parade ground or long hours lectures)

Toiletries: antiseptics, insecticides, towel, sanitary pads, this is essential to keep corpers from infections and skin reactions.

Mosquito Net: Take along with a rope to tie it to your bunk to avoid malaria.

Cash: At least 25,000 Naira with your ATM card. There are many other things that take up money in camp like food, charging of phones, e.t.c.

Waist Pouch: This is very essential. It serves as your bank and locker for important items. Things like phones, money, ID card, keys, ATM cards kept in there.

Torchlight Or Rechargeable Lamps: In Preparation for morning drills at 5am and at night after lights out, you will need them.

Padlocks: please lock your boxes and bags to avoid regrets. People have lost things to thieves due to carelessness.

Others: bed sheets, Pillow Cases, Pillow, Powerbank, pain relief drugs, antibiotics… etc.
