Obaseki Celebrates Okowa At 61, Lauds Commitment To The Betterment, Development Of Delta State

The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, has congratulated his Delta State counterpart, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, on his 61st birthday, lauding his commitment to the development of Delta State.
I celebrate my friend and brother, @IAOkowa as he adds another year today. A gentleman to the core, he has over time shown his unalloyed commitment to the betterment of his people and continues to lead as a democrat and an unrepentant optimist. Congrats, dear brother.

Obaseki said: “I celebrate my dear brother and friend, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, as he adds another year today.
“Governor Okowa is a gentleman and visionary leader who has over time shown his unalloyed commitment to the betterment of his people and continues to lead as a democrat and an unrepentant optimist”.
Obaseki acknowledged the impactful programmes of the Okowa-led government and assured that both governors will continue to strengthen the brotherly bond between the people of both states.
He added: “As people of the old Bendel State, my administration will continue to partner with the Delta State Government to consolidate our age-old shared values of love, peace and progress.
“I wish you excellent health and God’s continued guidance in the years ahead. Happy birthday”.
