Obaseki Congratulates Okowa On 62nd Birthday

The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, has congratulated his Delta State counterpart, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, on his 62nd birthday.
The governor, in a statement, said, “I celebrate with you, my friend and brother, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, as you add another year today.
“I wish you many more years of impactful service to the people of Delta State and Nigeria.”
Governor Obaseki lauded Okowa for his far-reaching reforms and programmes undertaken in Delta State since his foray into public service, noting that his contribution to the development of the state was phenomenal.
It would be recalled that the two states used to be one, before then military head of State, Gen Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida divided the old Bendel State into Edo and Delta state respectively. Just as the people of both states see each other as one people.
