By choosing a young, brilliant and charming northern Muslim as Vice presidential running mate, Peter Obi has caused more worries in the camps of the septuagenarian presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) who have been around the political circuit for several decades with little or no tangible benefits for the common people.
Peter Obi picking Dr. Yusuf Datti Ahmed is the best thing to happen to Nigerians.

I can assure you, he will have our votes and we young northerners would do everything possible to enlighten our elders on why this team is the best team for 2023 presidential election. pic.twitter.com/dQXLDleiRP
Abu Bakr has given Nigerians a brief résumé of the young enigma, Yusuf Datti Ahmed, a kind of figure that would easily galvanize the youths of the north to rally round Labour Party and give a lie to the postulations of Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, presidential candidate of New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).
Kwankwaso had said that the north will not vote for a man from the South East region.

It all progressed beyond the hints of a big announcement by Peter Obi, on the verge of naming his Vice presidential running mate.
Then the Vice presidential placement holder, Dr. Doyin Okupe announced the tender of his resignation letter to INEC withdrawing from the race in a tweet.
Just imagine the amazing number of ‘likes’ that followed such a simple announcement.
This afternoon I submitted my withdrawal letter from the position of the Vice Presidential candidate of the Labour Party to INEC.A replacement will be announced by d national chairman of d party shortly.I feel greatly blessed to hv been part of the foundation of success 4 the LP

This comes on the heels of a huge vote of thanks to the hardworking and patriotic Dr. Doyin Okupe:
OBIdients, let’s take out time to thank this man @doyinokupe immensely. He’s the big force behind all that’s happened. Truth is, without him this movement may not have gotten this much energy. He humbly decided to take sides with Nigerians. May God bless you richly sir. pic.twitter.com/pGDEiyIuKq

Twitter will soon be on high speed traffic with yet another announcement by Dr. Yusuf Datti Baba.

The 2023 presidential election has taken on a life of it’s own and either way, election dynamics would have changed forever in Nigeria and business as usual politics would continually remain unpredictable.
This was how it happened in the Western hemisphere country of Haiti when suddenly, Rev.Fr. Aristide announced his entry into the presidential race. Overnight hitherto uninterested young people thronged the offices of the Electoral Commission to register to vote.
That scenario has now happened in Nigeria with the presidential declaration by Peter Obi. Then by announcing Dr. Datti Ahmed as running mate, the fever has taken a new turn in the north.
