Obi’s New Tone In Nigeria’s Politics. PDP Agrees But Omokri Denies The Obvious, Yet INEC Agrees There Are Challenges

Ever ready to pitch Yorubas against Ndigbos in Lagos by threading on tribal fault lines which have been closing since after the civil war thereby making inter tribal marriages thrive astronomically down south and business linkages expand exponentially, @BusinessInsider’s
“Business Influencer of 2022” title holder, Delta born but London resident Reno Omokri says that
“The vice Chairman of Ojo Local Government is Mrs Uche Ubochi, an Igbo woman. There are several Igbo members of the House of Representatives representing Lagos constituencies”.
That much is true.
But read on and ask why the business influencer (a euphemism for propagandist) is pursuing that narrative:

It may not strictly be a gang up, but perhaps the acts of a few powerful thugs, doing it for the cash available. People work for cash, from thugs to influencers, lobbyists et al, everyone has a reason for working.
But why is he pursuing such negative propaganda?
Obviously, his acts in the media, especially on Twitter seems to be long range and subtle prongs to project Atiku Abubakar, who is the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) as the only electable presidential candidate. Not a bad plan for an internationally known influencer and political lobbyist anyway.
The problem is that he aims to cause deep seated troubles between the Igbos and Yorubas who have been living in peace for centuries on their settled geographic space, intermingling in all facets of existence.
The entry of Peter Obi into the presidential race without splashing dollars seems to be posing a huge threat to political investors who want dividends for what they have spent.

Not really bad for the different shades of perceptions per se, but doing it in a way to stoke embers of troubling flames from safety outposts in London is negative love for one’s homeland.
Despite Omokri’s denial of the obvious, see PDP Vanguard’s status and be the judge:

Even that alone, is a huge victory.

Even INEC Nigeria has recognized what Omokri is denying and they are doing their best to ameliorate the situation.
