Oborevwori Emerges PDP Gubernatorial Candidate In Delta State

Sheriff Oborevwori has emerged as the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial candidate in Delta State.

The Okpe born politician came tops because he is a credible candidate and was further backed by Delta State governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa.
This is further proof of the powers of a sitting governor. Dr. Okowa had anointed Oborevwori who is the speaker of the State House of Assembly against the hopes of former governor, James Onanefe Ibori whose candidate was David Edevbie.
Thus the former strongman Ibori cannot force his will on the political party any longer and any decision that fails to carry the endorsement of the state governor, cannot be accepted. That is the way of power and politics.
