The deputy governor who received the defectors from All progressive Congress to the people Democratic party assured them of fair treatment. Eleka assured them that PDP is the party of equal right, “immediately you become a member, you have same rights as those who have been here before you,” he assured.
He said he was happy with the new members that they have taken a bold step to leave the darkness for light.
“APC is cancerous, it is a party that steals, kills and destroy. I congratulate you today that you have seen the light. APC is darkness and PDP is light, darkness can never overcome light.
“When they were ruling this state, you all know how they ruined our economy, how they plunged us into monumental debt; how they threatened to sack our teachers, and they are still downsizing in the some of the states they are controlling,” Eleka said.
