“As our Muslim brothers and sisters mark the Hijri, the Islamic New Year Day, on this 30th day of July, I wish them peace, love, good health and prosperity. In the spirit of the new Islamic year, let us embrace ourselves in brotherhood and love” – Peter Obi.
Many Nigerians who are taking a little bit longer to join the masses in keying into the sweet Peter Obi political movement to free Nigeria from darkness and underdevelopment hardly know that as governor of Anambra State for 8 years, he worked only with Police Commissioners, exclusively from the north.
Not even a single Commissioner of Police was an Igbo man or a southerner. They were all northerners, either Christians or Muslims, yet Obi worked with them to secure Anambra State from insecurity caused by kidnappers, armed robbers, bandits and the rest of evil minded persons.
I pray for unity of our people and safety of our citizens throughout the Nation. In this new season, may we renew within us the spirit of oneness and nationhood to enable us overcome our many challenges in the months ahead. As-salamu alaykum. -PO

Before Peter Obi became the governor of the South East state, Anambra State that has the largest concentration of billionaires in Africa per square kilometer due largely to the People’s staggering industry, considering the region’s utter destruction and devastation as a result of the civil war that ended when Peter Obi was a mere scrawny little seven year old out of school primary school boy in 1970, all fled the state because godfathers with deadly guns and coercive anti democratic forces held sway.
There was insecurity. Massive insecurity and Peter Obi used the northern police Commissioners to restore security and bring peace. The billionaires started coming home for the first time after the locust years. They came to invest, build industries and pay taxes. Such that Anambra State did not owe multilateral financial institutions like some other states in Nigeria do.
Obi has the wand and the masses want him to win.
