A video is currently trending in the social media, showing the exterior and interior parts of an orange poisoned by unscrupulous and unidentified persons as a new tactic to cause harm to orange buyers and consumers in Maiduguri, capital city of Borno State that is at the epicenter of Boko Haram Islamist insurgency.

The video which is captured in Hausa is said to have emanated from Maiduguri, the Borno state capital, showing how Oranges are being poisoned through the use of syringes to inject harmful substances into them.
The video is currently being circulated to warn people to be conscious of any fruit they consume in the territory.
