Preparations For Makinde’s 4th Christmas Carol Service As Governor, High Hopes For 4 More Encore Years

A visit to the city of Ibadan now, would reveal many technicians at work, fixing the electrical works that adorn most intersections to display Christmas season decorations.
The Oasis Reporters visited Abe Bridge (Iwo Road intersection and junction, Challenge Bus stop, Govt House round about amongst many other destinations to observe this.

The decorations have become a beautiful part of Ibadan city and this will be the fourth, since Governor Seyi Makinde emerged the helmsman of Oyo State.
Added to the fact that Makinde has been doing his best to reengineer the City and make it a tourist destination has had the effect of endearing him to the heart of many residents, who seem intent on returning him to power to continue the infrastructural renewal of the City and the State.
One awesome aspect of his works remains the continual love it engenders amongst the people of Oyo State. Don’t be surprised to find Muslim adherents at Carol’s enjoying the hymns, and Christians at Islamic celebrations because practically every family is mixed. Oyo people uphold family first, before creed or religion.
