Road Project In Ilogbo-Ekiti: Aina Expresses Satisfaction, Thanks Fayose

Hon.Thaddeus Aina, representing Ekiti North Federal Constituency II in the House of Representatives has expressed satisfaction over the level of work done so far on the road project in Ilogbo-Ekiti.
The HoR member who just returned from Lagos led members of his party, the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) including two former councillors in Ilogbo Ward, Hon. Alonge Ayodele, Hon. Olatoye John. and Party Chairman, Mr. Toyin Abe to the site for inspection on Thursday 4th January, 2018.
Speaking at the site, the National Assembly member said he was impressed with the quality of job done so far on the road adding that those in charge of the road are men of honour. He urged the contractor to do everything necessary to put the road in shape and ensure it is delivered on schedule.
The lawmaker said he would have loved to facilitate construction of roads when he served as Executive Chairman of Ido/Osi Local Government during the first tenure of Gov. Ayodele Fayose, expressing happiness however for being able to do so, 8 years after.
He thanked Gov. Ayodele Fayose for the confidence reposed in him even as he promised to remain a loyal disciple of the Ayo Fayose political family.
The engineer supervising the road, Mr. Niyi promised that asphalt will be laid on the road within the next three weeks adding that the first phase of the road starts from DE Rock Hotel, Ido – Ekiti and ends at St. Mary’s Catholic Primary School, Ilogbo-Ekiti.
Noting that major work is on the first phase, Mr. Niyi stressed that work will commence immediately on the second phase from St. Mary’s Catholic Primary School to Ayegunle Road.
Residents who spoke with our crew said the road had been abandoned for more than three decades describing Hon. Aina as a secret achiever who talks less and performs more. They thanked God for his life as they added that Aina is the type who will do great deeds without letting anyone know about his achievements or plans.
The President of Egbe Omo Ilogbo-Ekiti, Elder J.S Ariyo said he was happy that the road which has been the major concern of all indigenes of the town was receiving necessary attention during his tenure, saying citizens of the town will forever be grateful to Hon. Aina who facilitated the project and Gov. Ayodele Fayose on the trust he reposed in their son.
In another developement, contractors in charge of boreholes in the 32 wards of Ekiti North Federal Constituency II had visited all the wards. While borehole drilling had begun in some wards, classrooms construction had equally commenced in the three local government areas of the constituency.
It will be recalled that solar poles were installed last year by Hon. Aina in all the 32 wards he represents.
