Shehu Sani Splits Hair With El Rufai, Threatens To Sue Gov’s Wife Before Clerics

Two former compatriots and frontline candidates who have now fallen apart, Senator
Shehu Sani, senator representing Kaduna central, and Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, are set to drive the wedge between them further apart as Shehu Sani has sent a terse message to Nasir El Rufai asking him to caution his wife over her comments on his hair.
In a Facebook post on Saturday, the senator said Hadiza El-Rufai, the governor’s wife, always talks about his hair whenever she is out campaigning.
Hadiza has been actively involved in the re-election campaign of her husband ahead of the March governorship election.
“I appeal to Mr Governor to caution his wife to stop talking about my hair everywhere she goes on campaigns. Everywhere she goes it’s all about my hair. It’s not my fault if her man is not blessed with hair. I consider it as hate speech. I will report her to Dr Gummi or Council of Imams if she doesn’t stop. Haba Jammaa,” the post read.
In an intriguing twist to the politics of the two Kaduna politicians, both of them have been courting the votes of the Christian Igbo ethnic group to vote for them.
Meanwhile, there’s no love lost between Governor Nasir El Rufai and the indigenous Christians of Southern Kaduna.
