Tonight is the First US Presidential Debate. Nigerian Born Nefertiti Is At The Sidelines Watching With Keen Eyes

.
Nefertiti @Firstladyship says here are the things you need to know:
“145!!!
That wasp the number of times Donald Trump interrupted Joe Biden on stage in 2020.
The question tonight is, “can he play Mr. Nice Guy for 90mins?” It’s almost as if he wakes up every morning, looking for who to fight.
Tonight is different in many ways:
It is the first time that both candidates are seeking a second term in office. It is the first time that Donald Trump and Joe Biden will be meeting on stage since 2020.
Prior to the 22nd Amendment, presidents could run for re-election without restriction. Trump is the first president to seek a “non-consecutive” term since the passage.
It is also the first-ever debate between a sitting president and a former president. So tonight is the History of many firsts.
With the above, it means that both candidates will have something to defend. Biden won the last debate by the way. Whoever wins tonight, might just have something going into November.
Some of the rules to be observed:
• No pre-written notes or props.
• Microphone will be muted, unless a candidate is directed to speak.
There’ll be no live audiences tonight.
The Hosts are CNN’s Jake Tapper and Dana Bash. Biden and Trump agreed to one more debate and it’s going to be hosted by ABC News on September 10.
There are a wide range of issues, and they vary statewide. But tonight’s debate is in Georgia, and Biden won the state with just under 12,000 votes in 2020. So Trump is going to try to win the hearts of Georgians this time. Will he be able to pull that off?
CNN is yet to share what topics will be covered. But the few possible topics are:
1. Economy.
2. Democracy.
3. Immigration.
4. Border Security.
5. Abortion Rights.
6. Crime, Gun Violence
7. Hunter Biden’s Convictions.
8. Donald Trump’s Convictions.
In 2016, (EIU) Democracy Index Report downgraded the U.S from a Full Democracy, to a Flawed Democracy.
This was before the events of January 6, 2021. Capitol Riots was a disgrace to America; people around the world saw the U.S as an embarrassment.
Ultimately, the debate is going to center on “America’s Role in the World.” Its Military and Foreign Policy. With increasing spate of violence and volatility in the Middle East, Americans are hoping to have a CEO with a clearly defined U.S Agenda around the world.
This election is going to go down to the wire.
WHO WILL WIN TONIGHT?”.
Written by Nefertiti FirstLadyship. She’s a full fledged Nigerian, very much about town when it comes to Nigeria first in all of it’s politics. Strongly believing in giving the Nigerian citizenry a fighting chance to survive and flourish.
In her home country Nigeria, political contestants with a thing or two to hide, fight shy of holding debates in public. The country also has an electoral umpire that has never been known to be cited in Africa as a model of an impartial arbiter at election time.
She will be watching keenly, how the American debates go.
