Donald Trump:
Incoming President of the United States

Ahead of President Donald Trump’s inauguration on January 20, 2025, he has been speaking, a way of intimating the American public and the world at large towards his policy directions.

And so far, it seems cheery. Trump looks set to enthrone righteousness and turn America away from deviousness and other destructive ways of life.

One interesting thing is the change in rhetoric. It seems what mattered most during his first tenure is set to change.

President Trump in his first tenure always talked about the Mexican border that should have a fence, imperially asking Mexico to pay for its construction. He had little good to say to the Mexican president, Andrés Manuel López Obrador (2018-2024).

But now, Mexico has Claudia Sheinbaum who was sworn in on October 1, 2024 as president. A woman of faith who describes herself as a mother and grandmother.

The Trump rhetoric has changed for he has not talked about fencing the border with Mexico to be paid for by the Mexican side. Instead the thrust of his speech seem to be agonizing with the country that has been held hostage by wealthy drug barons who have killed thousands of people with impunity. The killings have affected families, rendering many women widows and many children as orphans. That in the final analysis leads to frustration as many plot to escape to the United States, swelling the population of undocumented immigrants.

Therefore, the might of the American military was coming after them. They would be smoked out and annihilated to set the people of Mexico free from the menace and the drug trade would also dry up in the United States of America.

The speech is drawing cheers from all over Latin America and also the world as the drug trade would be eviscerated, going by what the president said.

Countries on other continents like Africa may need to watch over their immigration services and ensure that the drug cartels do not have lodging grounds in their places to rid the world of such a destructive business.
